Alsager is a town in Cheshire, England, to the north-west of the city of Stoke-on-Trent, and east of the railway town of Crewe. Alsager has a population of 12,578 (2001 census), and is administered by Congleton Borough Council. In the centre of Alsager is a lake called Alsager Mere. This isolated pool is accesable by local residents whom have gardens ajoining with the waters, and by a small public viewing area. Alsager is off junction 16 of the M6, and is also served by the local Crewe to Derby railway service.
