Daresbury is a small rural village in Cheshire, northern England, south of Warrington. It is covered by the Warrington South constituency. The most notable things about Daresbury are that it was the home town of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland author Lewis Carroll (real name Charles Dodgson), and that the CCLRC Daresbury Laboratory possesses a rather large particle accelerator, the Synchrotron Radiation Source. Daresbury has become a place of pilgrimage because of the Lewis Carroll association. The Church has a series of Lewis Carroll windows and there is a small shop inside.
