Known formerly as Church Hulme, Holmes Chapel is a village of some 5,700 residents in central Cheshire, in the borough of Congleton. It is located at the junction of the A50 and A54, close to the M6 motorway. Holmes Chapel is about 9 miles south west of Macclesfield, 6 miles north west of Congleton and 6 miles due east of Winsford. Holmes Chapel has rail links to Manchester and Crewe, making it a good base for commuting.
