The small market town of South Molton in Devon sits on the River Mole. Back in 2001 it had a population of just over 4k residents. Originally it traded in livestock, wool and leather but now tourism also plays a big role in the town. It is often referred to as the gateway to Exeter. There are a number of events and fairs throughout the year in and around South Molton.
