The small town of Snodland in Kent lies on the River Medway and between Maidstone and Rochester. The population in 2006 was around 12k residents. This is due to change and the town will increase in size due to the Tonbridge and Malling council?s development plans. The site of the old quarry will become over 1,000 new homes and the project on the whole is expected to take over 10 years to complete. The average price for property for sale in Snodland is below the national average at around £150k (September 2007). The new development should see this figure increase though. Over a third of the current property is semi detached which was priced at around £245k in the summer of 2007.
