- We are a young, friendly, professional couple. If you want to live in a lovely, modern, spacious, clean house, rather than a dirty, little hole, then look no further! The house is in a quiet village just outside Bedford (6 miles from Bedford train station). There is a good sized, double room available - and possibly another room if we decide to rent both spare rooms out. The room is furnished with a double bed, two sets of drawers and a hanging clothes rail if required - linen, duvet, pillows all available if necessary. There are blinds and curtains in the bedroom. The house has central heating plus wood burners. The house is very modern and very well presented! We have wireless internet, Sky HD / Sky Plus, garage for storing bicycle etc. if required, two local pubs, two takeaways, village convenience store, village post office, village hall, bus stops, flatmate would have sole use of the main bathroom with toilet, sink, bath and overhead power shower. We have a large kitchen with all the usual mod cons (microwave, steamer, gas hob, electric oven, tv, dishwasher), utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, cloakroom with toilet and sink). We have two dogs but they don't have the roam of the whole house, therefore it doesn't smell doggy. We have off road parking, a large garden, countryside views to the rear (views of horses). There is a house alarm and CCTV around the outside of the house. We are looking for a non-smoker that likes dogs and isn't looking for a place to play loud music etc. We're happy to have short term lodgers, anything from 1 week to several months or more.
