- We have a double room available in a lovely house in Portslade. The room is fully furnished with a double bed, desk, bedside table, chest of drawers and fitted wardrobes. Rent is £350 per month including bills (gas, electricity, 4mb wireless broadband internet, TV license, phone rental (but obviously not calls), cable TV, freeview TV!) The house has a lovely living room with big squishy sofas and a dining table and chairs, a good kitchen with all the utensils you could require (plus a washing machine), and a garden and patio area for those important summer BBQs :) You would be sharing with 2 others (one female and one male aged 25 and 26). At present we are both post grads (studying an MSc in nursing and a PhD in engineering respectively) but I (the girl) am finishing in July and have a professional job lined up :) Therefore we are looking for either a student or professional aged between 21 and 30. You will ideally be female and will definately be a non-smoker. We are no longer big on clubbing but aren't adverse to a few drinks in the pub, (or even at home) and are looking for someone similar who could become a friend rather than someone who happens to live in the other room! There is a main bus route 30 seconds from the house (number 1/1A, plus the number 55 to the university), and the house is 5 mins away from the A27, making the university 12 mins by car (yes we have timed it! LOL) Oh and the room is available from the 1st June. Um, I think that is all the information! Megan
