- Room to rent in big house. Lots of personal space!! I own a house with a friend who is going to Australia in May - possible as a permanent fixture. The house is big - initially I will probably only rent one room out therefore you would have lots of space - even your own living room! I work long hours sometimes and play a lot of football so dont spend a lot of time in the house, but when I do I like it to be clean and comfortable and somewhere I can easily relax. I get on with most people and am very sociable, but also enjoy my own space! I have been doing the place up myself and it is mostly finished but there are still some small jobs that I will continue to do (i.e. painting). There is lots of space available to use, prime location close to supermarket and motorway and close to town. Local pubs and nightlife not too bad either! Room is a big double bedroom, recently decorated (welcome to change if you wish!), furnished with king size double and built in wardrobe and storage. Full cable tv is available downstairs and internet also. Huge master living room, smaller separate living room and separate dining room and kitchen. I am looking to rent one room out initially to a professional (or a student who doesnt go out much in the week...if they exist...?!) or someone who can appreciate the fact I get up early for work and like to relax at weekends. Also, someone who might not mind me doing the odd bit of DIY (within reason of course...). You can even have a say in the colour schemes if you wish!!
