Daresbury is a small rural village in Cheshire to the south west of Warrington and east of Runcorn. Daresbury was the home town of Lewis Carroll and the Daresbury Laboratory houses a huge particle accelerator, the Synchrotron Radiation Source.

Daresbury has become a place of pilgrimage because of the Lewis Carroll association. The Church has a series of Lewis Carroll windows and there is a small shop inside.

Due to its size it is difficult to provide average prices for Daresbury property. However, in the WA4 postcode the average property asking price was around £280,000 in January 2008.
