The village of Halverton in Devon has the Grand Western Canal running through it and is located between the market towns of nearby Cullompton and Tiverton. The village is split into two parts being Higher Town and Lower Town. These two sections of the village have a mill, stream and pond running through them. This pond is fed by a warm spring so the water here never freezes.

Halberton is home to a number of old houses such as The Priory which is believed to date back to around the 14th century. The old house used to house the monks of St Augustine.
