The small town of Princetown in Devon had a population of around 2k residents at the last census in 2000. Over looked by the North Hessary Tor, Princetown attracts many walkers to the area and is known as the highest town on the moor. Another famous landmark is Dartmoor prison which is located in the town.
There is a bus service in the summer that goes through the town linking it to the cities of Plymouth and Exeter. Yelverton and Tavistock can also be visited but this service only runs during the day.
Princetown has put a lot of effort into developing the town. It has recently seen new housing and a community centre being built.
