Southwark is a borough in London and south of the river Thames. The 2001 census stated that Southwark had a population of 245k residents but that had increased to 269k by 2006. Nearby boroughs include Tower Hamlets, Lambeth and Lewisham. Southwark has many open spaces and parks and is undergoing some re-development.

The areas of Bermondsey and Rotherhithe have seen plenty of development over the years and offers good quality apartments for sale along side the river.
