Average House Prices

In the UK the average price for a property is not far off £200k at £197.6k. The % rose by 0.3% in October and has risen a total of 8.3% since July 2006. In London though the average property price dropped by 0.1% in October and Yorkshire also saw a reduction of around 0.6%.

The average price for homes in October was as follows:
An apartment was around £165K
A semi detached property was around £163k
A terraced property was around £136k

This data is compiled from a number of places such as The Land Registry, RICS, CLG and a some Building Societies.
