Rent or Buy

Recent research has revealed that buying your home as opposed to renting can save you around £5,800 over a 25 year period. Whilst paying rent each month may prove cheaper than paying a mortgage, at the end of the 25 years you have nothing to show for it. Whereas the home buyer has their property which will also have increased in value over this time.

First time buyers are finding it very difficult to get on the property ladder and when faced with renting or buying sometimes renting seems the only option.
