Anyone looking to sell may want to invest in making their home greener first. Properties being sold that needs a HIP will be given an EPC (Energy Performance Certificate). The surveyors who perform the HIP will be looking at the heating system installed, double glazing and insulation of lofts, tanks and pipes.

Not only will the above give you a good EPC it should also save you money on heating costs.
