Average Prices

House prices on average have again remained the same for December and are likely to stay this way in the first part of 2008. Some property owners are offering discounts in a bid to make their property more appealing to buyers.

Estate agents have reported that new listings are low compared to this time last year. The current average number of homes for sale per agent has dropped from 65 to 63 based on October’s figures. The average time a property has been on the market has come down though from 92 to 90 days compared to last month.
