First Time Buyers


It has been reported that the number of first time buyers is at a record low, not since 1980 has the market seen so few new buyers. It is believed only 300k new buyers got on the property ladder in 2007 which is around 15k less than the year before.

This is because of rising house prices, the average price for a first time buyers is now about £175k this figure has risen by 82% over the last 5 years. A recent survey found that 96% of all UK’s towns are out of the reach of new buyers.
