With property prices rising in the UK and the average deposit at around £25 – 30k many are looking abroad to invest.
Cape Verde off the North West coast of Africa is seen as a good investment opportunity where you can purchase a property for the price of a UK deposit. Rental yield are about 7% and it is thought this will rise to around 10% over the coming years as more tourists visit. Cape Verde has a tropical climate all year and flights are due to be increased for 2008 at Gatwick and Manchester.
