Liverpool

Liverpool has always been a place well known for its maritime heritage, sports and architecture but achieving the European Capital of Culture will also be part of our great history. It is thought that this great achievement will see more than 2 million extra visitors to the city. This will boost the city and could improve property prices in Liverpool.

Over the last few years there have been lots of regeneration projects all over the city especially at the waterfront. In particular the Liverpool Kings Dock area will boast a large arena and conference centre along with hotels, offices and shops all being built at a cost of around £390 million.

Other developments in the city are the £1.6 million Paradise Project, a 42.5 acre shopping mall due for spring 2008 and St Paul’s Square a mix of apartments, and offices again due spring 2008.
