Why Wales
Wales has seen some of the highest property price increases over the last few years. In Carmarthenshire property prices have risen by around 287% in the past 10 years. The average property price in Carmarthenshire is now around £172k which is in line with the rest of the UK. Gwynedd, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire are also doing well.
According to the County House Price Index, out of the top 10 Wales have 3 counties that have achieved high property price growth in the past 10 years.
Even with this increase Wales still offers good value in the property market. Prices in Cardiff have remained stable and property in Blaenau Gwent is around the lowest in the UK with an average of just £113k in 2007.
Wales is a fantastic place to live with beautiful scenery and one of the lowest crime rates in the UK.
