Interest Rates

It is thought that the Bank of England will reduce interest rates to 5% when they meet this month. This will see a 0.25% reduction off the current rate of 5.25%.

A recent survey found that 75% of financial institutions expect this rate drop to go ahead.

It was also revealed that interest rates are expected to continue to fall and predictions for early 2009 see a rate of around 4%. This is excellent news for homeowners and those still waiting to get on the property ladder.
